Alcobendas (Madrid, Spain)

Following the great skatepark designer Daniel Yabar’s design, we’ve given the Nepal skatepark in Madrid a fresh start, fully renovated and treated with new obstacles all around. This project was very challenging, as the council wanted us to build bowls up to 3m high without using shotcrete, all by hand. In order to build it in the same way that the original bowls were made. Besides that, a couple of other obstacles were added around the central bowls like quarter pipes, hips, pole jams, ledges and rails. Brick ledges and copings with cuts aren’t details you see often.
